UCHealth uses a 401(a) instead of social security. In addition they offer a 403(b) with up to 3% match and a 457(b) savings plan. This is all on top of a pension plan that vests in 5 years.

The retirement plan at UCHealth is very good. You get a real pension as well as a 401K with employer match and a 403B.

UCHealth offers a pension to eligible employees. Pensions are not common these days, and therefore are a wonderful benefit.

There isnt a 401k. They do offer a pension. Though you probably should plan on saving your own money in a personal retirement account because the pension won't give someone very much income after the retire.
