Not paid out when you leave the position

Without a regular department salary, I accumulate no paid sick days to use. I'm only paid when I work.

I really do not see a down side to the sick days, other than a doctors note is required after a 3 days of calling out. This is a bit inconvenient if you have the flu. All they'll tell you is to get bed rest and drink fluids.

Sick days are unquestioned and are accrued by month.
