If you are union, you only qualify after a year, but once you do it is pretty good and they don't deduct anything from your paycheck, even if you are part- time.

The benefits are/were great. They are renegotiated regularly, and as long as you are already in the union, you can keep your old benefits, but its still rigamaroll that makes you question how much they appreciate their workers.
