Network and PAs are awful, but you get what you pay for. Which is nothing since its free.

Limited on who you may see as a doctor if in the military. Depending on location, maybe required to have a civilian doctor.

It's pretty nice IMO especially for family members.

Overall, good health care & coverage for the servicemember. Some problems arise from having multiple primary care providers over the course of a career due to assignment cycles - nearly a different primary care doctor every year. Electronic medical file is a big improvement and counters to some degree the rapid turnover in physicians. Referral process can be cumbersome.

I think that the health care is great!

The best thing is that your family is also covered for medical.
