I pay nothing for health care but it's provided for by the military. Don't expect to use it a lot because you need to stay healthy to do your job, both physically and mentally. It's not that they won't take care of you but if you allow yourself to get beaten down you would be put out of the Army.
The doctors are decent and all your needs are covered be it normal doctor, eyes, hearing, dental.

Varies from post to post, but overall the US Army health plan is very good, and responsive to solider needs.

when i had knee surgery it kinda felt like the first doctor was in training because she didn't do a very good job the second surgery they had to cut the cartilage completely and the physical therapist doesn't take your pain seriously in my experience

You wont find any thing more free. Just for the sake of your body if it hurt get it check out. You are no good to no one if it brakes or you die.

The best thing about the health insurance is that it is free and medical care is onsite. Unfortunately, many of the military doctors are not nearly as good as civilians in the same field.
