Army provide a huge range of training: from physically fit to mentally strong, from medical to engineering.

Job training is good for individual jobs; army jobs have mixed mileage regarding whether the job applies to private sector in any capacity.

You can pick your job so long as your ASVAB test scores and background check qualify you for it. It is a great way to learn a trade of your choice, just be sure to research the army's version beforehand to ensure it translates to the civilian sector. For example, army truck drivers do not receive a CDL.

There are numerous opportunities for job training and they encourage a lot of professional training to develop your leadership and technical skills.
