It was great I took advantage of it all the time. Constant vacations.

Very generous 30 days accrued per calendar year for a maximum of 60 before use or lose for the time off sets in. This can mean that a person can accrue 90 days before they have to take leave. This can be added to if accrued in a deployment.

30 days a year, maximum in account of 80 days.

Only get to take vacations when company wants you to, unless otherwise needed for emergency situations.

US Army Military Leave for me personally has never been a bad experience other than the fact that when mission dictates, you may not be able to use any of your time off, but then again, who in this world has not experienced that whether it's a Service Member or Civilian, as I stated earlier, when I want to take time off from work, I plan at least 15 to 30 days in advance in terms of submitting my required documents for approval for Paid Time Off, Christmas Leave you can get between 2 to 2-1/2 weeks Paid Time off, if you are on Re-Assignment Orders to another State or Overseas, you can request as much as 30 days off, if you are set for Retirement, you can place in a max of 20 days Permissive TDY (Temporary Duty) along with the max number of days Terminal Leave, for example if I have a total of 90 Days Terminal Leave prior to my last official day in the Army along with my authorized 20 Days Permissive TDY for Job and House Hunting (if relocating), that's 110 days Paid Time Off prior to my last day in the military, my Permissive TDY was actually 20 days along with only 60 days Terminal Leave because my timeline fell in after October 1st which begins the new Fiscal Year and will automatically cut your Terminal Leave Days down to 60, regardless if you had more days to use.

You get 30 days per month and can carry it over to the next year up to a limit.
