Military Leave

I haven’t experienced this but worked with a veteran who got his same job back after serving oh and work with s retired veteran who is allowed to go to certain military functions

begrudgingly gave this only because it is required by federal law.

Not in the military but they do honor leave request

they are super understanding with their emplyees in the armed forces

This is probably the only thing management wouldn't you against you in an effort to smear you against your co-works. Probably, only because they haven't figured out a way to... yet.

I'm not in the military so I don't know. My co-workers that were in the military left a lot for their military duties which left the rest of us having to pull double time because they weren't smart enough to get those shifts covered

USPS is one of the largest employers of veterans, and honors their military leave needs.

They give you time off

No problem for those in The Guard or in the Reserves to get time off for training or deployment
