Company Social Events

They have conventions all the time. Not required to go, but fun.

I have not been to one, but they do a few get togethers.

VIPKID encourages teachers from all over the world to meet and gather together to share life and learn from one another. There are lots of local meetups for teachers as well as big events where even HQ attends.

There are many company sponsored/teacher led events all over the US to meet and mingle with other teachers.

The teachers host meetups all over the USA. Many are family friendly. Most are fun some are meeting style for sharing tips

Tons of meetups always being planned by teachers in the community. (They are not well reimbursed for their time to do these, it is more for the teachers to feel some kind of personal connection to the company that they work so hard for. A personal connection or valuation is definitely not felt as a direct employee.

They have meet-ups in person as well as a social community online.

Teachers in certain areas usually get together to have meet-ups with some type of training or discussion attached to it. It's usually a way to connect with co-workers we would otherwise never see. VIPKID is awesome about sending freebies to these meet-ups and advertising them for the coordinators.

I have not yet been to one of the local social events so I cannot truly rate them. But I am glad to see social events are held in my area.
