Volunteer Time Off

You have the option of one day per year.

1 day a year to support the community

You get one volunteer PTO day each year. In theory, it's yours to use as you see fit, but in the interest of impressing higher-ups, your manager is likely to try to schedule the entire team at once and pressure you into something you have no interest in. Turning it down can have consequences on your review.

We get one volunteer day off which is nice. But I have not utilized this feature up to this point.

The company encourages volunteering and is supportive of the community.

We are given one day of paid Volunteer time off every year to help out at the organization of our choice. This has been in the last few years.
