401K plan was great. I believe it was 5% matched contribution and Fidelity was the company managing the funds. The only problem with the 401K is that if you don't sign up for it in the beginning of your employment, it's almost impossible to sign up. The company's benefits department forwards all calls regarding 401K to Fidelity and Fidelity does not have authorization to create an account for you.

The best thing about my Verizon 401K plan was that I was able to have easy access to my account. The worst thin g about my 401K plan was the penalties for taking a withdrawal.
