Good health insurance program from what I have heard from friends

Verizon offers decent health case coverage even to laid off employees. They provide severance coverage at 2wks/year of service paid by them, then allow you to continue at their full rate thru COBRA at ~$1500/mon for pretty great insurance.

Great benefits. Recently changed its benefits structure so co-pays are a little more but the corporate discounts with partnered companies still remain.
