use to be excellent. That have stopped the paid retirement back a number of years ago. Even those that were already working with the company and there for years and in their 40's and above. It was frozen and only earns interest. though you do have a choice, at least in management to take a monthly annuity or a lump sum (which they figure out by your age and life expectancy. That lump sum you can roll over into a 401K with a financial advisor.

Verizon uses a 401K with 100% matching up to 6%

they just have 401K only
