The disability Insurance is not at all what you would expect and shouldn't even be called insurance. Refuse the company sponsored plans and purchase your own coverage outside of what the company offers through Cigna and New York Life. Do your homework on these plans, and ask a lot of questions, the last thing you want to do is fight the insurance company and employer for your benefits when you're trying to recover from illness. And don't expect ATS to help you either, they didn't even know they were the administrator of the plan. Lack of accountability and a lot of finger pointing with no disability payouts.
