There was a program to assist with various life challenging events. Mostly a counseling and resource reference.

As I maintain, I love Disney but only dislike the way you may be treated by management at DVC.

I had no experience with it but I heard it was good for permanent employees.

You can talk to managers or HR people if you have some problems to talk to

This is frequently mentioned in employee documents but seldom mentioned by managers or HR. It is there if you need it and there is plenty of follow up care available, but the employee or their family will need to take care of matters themselves. In short, the care is there and available but don't expect handholding through the process.
