While an EOE, the culture needs to improve to attract as well as retain diverse talent.
Starting with HR : how does Wipro justify bringing in India-based HR folks (on H1/L1s) ? HR is hardly a 'highly skilled' category : this is the 1st step in improving diversity..(ethnicity, racial , country of origin diversity)
While there are women in all rank and file across the company, Wipro needs to improve diversity in terms of ethnic / country of origin (overwhelmingly Indian-origin)
There are very few (if at all) racial minorities at visible roles within the company (an area of significant improvement)
Root cause : HR : hire competent , local HR folks (translation : most of the current HR personnel are incompetent, arrogant and fail to shape the organization's culture)
