I felt the vacation and paid time off was generous compared to other places I’ve worked

Fine, but heaven forbid you ever try and change the days you took vacation. Again, HR has no idea how to use workday and workday makes no sense so it will take you like 8 emails if you have to change the days you took vacation.

Exempt employees get 4 weeks a year vacation, hourly staff start at 2 weeks. Sick time accrues at different rates for both groups as well. ~10 paid holidays throughout the year, plus almost 2 weeks at Christmas.

No paid time off for Teaching assistant of course. But you are flexible to your own schedule. It's an alternative benefit.
