There are 3 choices on the dental plan and the max plan that you can get only covers up to $1,500/year and you have to use a dentist in the plan. The middle plan covers up to $1,000/year. And you pay accordingly. Still pays for itself if you are the type of person to get 2 cleanings and a set of x-rays/year. There is a reasonable deductible. You'll get the plan rate if you go above the limit.
