Good plans, premiums reasonable. Several options and carriers available.

Deductible is $1200. Plan is difficult to navigate. HR offers no assistance in understanding benefits as this is not a "job related activity."

The high-deductable plan is the only plan available - it covers most common health problems, and provides "discounted" rates for many things. You can setup a pre-tax healthcare savings plan to pay for health-related expenses and is accepted by nearly every provider in my area, so I can choose the doctors I see.
For covering a family of four, the deductible is about $3,000, plus a per-paycheck cost that is based on your salary. The cost of going to the doctor is now about 7 times what it was four years ago and the per-paycheck cost is about double. Salaries have been flat throughout this time, so the overall effect is to take a pay cut year over year to keep healthcare coverage.

Xerox needs better options for how much Health Insurance can cost, if we want to have our own place.
