As with the dental coverage, Xerox was the first company to offer a legitimate vision plan

Very few places accept the plan. None of the places that permit you to receive glasses the same day accept their plan.

This vision plan doesn't cover people with severe myopia. After struggling to get coverage that works for my glasses needs, several plan representatives have flat out told me the plan is not designed to cover people with major vision problems. The only reason I still buy into this plan is to cover my kids and my husband. It works fine for what they need at this time. I have to juggle what is "vision" versus what I can classify as "medical" to get my own needs covered.
Unlike the dental plan, which has an option to pay more to get better coverage, the vision plan is one-size-doesn't-fit-all.
