Retirement Plan

...there was a pension, at least for now...how its calculated is a secret though...

They have a great retirement plan. I wish they still offered pension plan.

After the qualifying period of probationary time has passed, my time can be accrued toward retirement with the company and can earn between 20% - 75% of my monthly salary, depending on how many years I stay with BP.

They were openly discussing removing the retirement plan altogether. They are encouraging older employees to cash it out.

Well, it is still there in my plan for when I reach the golden years
