Hot take: ADHD isn’t being overdiagnosed, it’s finally being recognized, especially in adults, women, and BIPOC folks who were overlooked for years. I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 31, after years of struggling with focus, memory, and emotional regulation. I thought I was just lazy or broken, because that’s what the world made me believe. Now people act like it’s some TikTok trend, and it honestly pisses me off. Why is it so hard for people to accept that diagnosis rates are rising because awareness is finally catching up to reality?

What is some of the best ADHD advice you've ever gotten? Or do you have any strategies you've found help you that might benefit others? ✨️I want to create a mega thread of general ADHD advice for navigating our brains and society.✨️ *My first tip is to keep track of veggies & other food that needs to get eaten on a white board on the fridge. I also made a chart so my partner remembers where to put things so they don't get lost & forgotten about.
