Need some advice from people who've dealt with similar situation. I 'm currently serving my notice at EY, with my LWD as 28th July, I requested an early release till 24th July because of my joining commitment with my next employer, but my has been denied, citing that the client is not approving it. What has been more disappointing is the way this has been handled. During discussion, HR was quite dismissive and spoke in a manner that I didn't expect from someone in an head HR role.

However recruiters are asking for written confirmation for an early release date. how to convey or convince recruiters that I can join early.
