Does anyone else find it uncomfortable having to ask people 10, 15, or even 20+ years younger than you for a referral? Makes me feel like a failure.

Why is it that these companies that reach out to you, saying we are looking for someone like you asking you to apply and then you never hear anything back from them?

Are individuals actually submitting resumes themselves, or have are the higher numbers the result of individuals enabling their app for automated resume submissions?
