I saw a CEO say “workers are facing Darwinian moment, thanks to AI, either evolve or get cut. It seems it is coming true for everyone including partners and MDs in consulting. How are you all retraining and learning new ways of working with AI? Are you sticking to more of day to day LLM AI usage or getting deeper with vibe coding and building custom agents to do more complex unique tasks?

This could be existential for KPMG. Look at what happened to PWC and the costs to the local and global partnership in trying to correct the issues there. Additionally, it has just been announced that KPMG excessively accessed the whistleblowers email, and the global function refused to take up the case. This is troubling as the new global CEO was firstly the former CEO of Australia and has been the number 2 globally for the last few years. A fish rots from its head. We at KPMG need to swiftly replace every leader in Australia and secondly the new CEO needs to be clear what he knew and what he didn’t know, additionally what was his involvement in the global review? It may be we need to replace him.
