Does Panda Express hire felons?
I have 4 managers, 2 night shift, 2 day shift. One of my managers has cooperate training and is very by the book. My other managers are more "wait and see" and not very communitive. What I am running into is all my other managers hiding being her while she has to be the bad guy constantly. In the last 2 weeks I have had employees (not A+) come to me and say she's over and under managing them in the same sentence. Do I tell her to mellow out and stop being a strong manager or what?
Has anyone ever done a cooking apprenticeship before? I'm a high school student in Calgary, who currently works as a dishwasher, and I want to work in the restaurant industry after high school. I want to join my schools registered apprenticeship program. Do I have to wait for the school year to start up? Who do I ask in my kitchen, if I even do, and how do I ask them? I'm very new to this whole thing, so my apologies if my question might have an obvious answer I'm not seeing. Thank you!
Is there any restaurant out there that still do Job applications or is it all apply online?
After 8yrs being with the company, I got terminated for something that was not my fault which another manager took responsibility for..i was still suspended right before i took my vacation for thus matter and when i returned i was terminated over a text. I am concerned about my vacation time i still have. Will that be paid to me. I feel very targeted here.
Anything helps
So I looked it up and yes they do
This is an excellent resource for companies who hire felons. Also find your local human services employment agency and sign up for job counseling services. They often have connections to smaller employers who believe in rehabilitation and hire former incarcerated individuals. If you are still under supervision, your supervising officer may have some resources for job training and programs that will get you into short term training programs that add to your skills you already have. My suggestion, warehouse work entry level is an excellent place to start. If you are able to get your fork-lift certification through one of the above mentions, that could be your general ticket to hire. Husband's history hindered him for a while, this is some of the avenues he ventured. It's not easy, but you just have to remind people that you're not that person anymore, and when you feel like you're being met with brick walls, remind yourself of that too and keep going! It is definitely worth it! https://employment.org/s?tid=kwd-1909481641&aid=152849832683&placement=&target=&gclid=CjwKCAjw0aS3BhA3EiwAKaD2ZZU674xY3dt6YfQFDpWDVgODtoEaXpvpyfOjWP7I0zmBLxeS5t58lhoCR5AQAvD_BwE&cpid=0aec4b81-567b-4e55-a471-272a286016f8&gad_source=1
