Interview
The interview process and experience was abysmal. The lead recruiter and hiring manager never responded to a single message (various mediums such as email, LinkedIn messaging, and phone calls). 6 weeks after the last interview, I received the generic dreaded rejection email advising they selected another candidate.
The initial conversations with the recruiter were pleasant and detailed, which led to the discussion with the hiring manager.
Unfortunately, the conversation with the hiring manager was discouraging and fruitless. The hiring manager tone seemed disinterested, arrogant, and I felt that this was a burden to him.
I do not believe they understood the investment of time and emotions that candidates exert into this process, otherwise they would have been courteous in their communication.
For a company that has great brand recognition, this is disappointing.
