First round was with HR, second round was with a senior researcher. She was extremely nice and was very upfront about the chaotic and constantly changing expectations due to higher-ups and the company expanding etc. I thought our conversation went really well, and since she walked me through the timeline for next steps (a panel interview), I left optimistic. Unfortunately, after a few weeks of no response to my follow-up, I received an auto-generated email telling me they weren't going to continue.
