So if you do no qualify academically, Do not waste your time. The process consists of 6 rounds. 3 Aptitudes and 3 interviews. All rounds are elimination rounds. The 1st Apti is considerably easy. It is purely logical consisting, pattern recognition, mirror images and visualization problems. Cracking this doesnt require special studies. 40 questions 15-20 minutes The 2nd round is medium consisting different diagrams reminding you of Engg. Drawing. Question Objects are supposed to be matched with the similar looking objects in the answer options. Questions about projections, geometry, views, and identifying the orthographic image from the given projections constitute this round. Revise ur Engg drawing. 20 questions 30 minutes. The 3rd apti is purely technical and quantitative. With a few vocabulary questions here and there. Its better you are familiar with quants. They constitute major amount of this test. Trick questions are also there. So answer carefully. This round is a bit difficult. But almost everyone who cleared the 2nd round, cleared the 3rd round also. After this are 2 purely technical interviews. The 2nd tougher than the 1st. Prepare basics of your favorite engg subject as they ask you what was it and questions are framed from that subject. I was asked to draw diagram of a 2-stroke petrol engine and point out differences w.r.t its 4-stroke counterparts. The questions of SOM, like drawing SFD and BMD of simply supported beam with load acting at the centre, ASME convention of Shear stress permissible etc. Also Engg Drawing questions were asked. They ask very tricky questions sometimes. Be sure you visualize the question before you answer. They are difficult to clear as they probably require at least 90% correct answers. Technically Sound people can clear them easily. The last round is HR. I couldn't reach this round. But I am told that this round is purely personal. The process is really long and dragged unnecessarily. The results of aptitude rounds are given right away but the interview results are given over a period of 2-3 days each. All three interviews are on 3 different days. So for those of who are already working, prepare eligible excuses of leave. The company is great to work for.
