I applied directly and one week later HR got in touch to plan a phone screening the next day. In this call I was told that I would have a call with the hiring manager later that day and that his details would be passed on. I did not receive a confirmation email nor was I called by the hiring manager on the expected time. I got an email the next day with apologies and suggested another time. I waited 20 minutes for the call and decided to leave it. 30 minutes later I received a call but I was unable to pick up as I was driving. No voicemail was left and so I emailed HR again. Again, another apology followed 5 days after and another interview slot was booked in the afternoon. The interview ended with "had a good conversation" from the hiring manager. I emailed HR two days later thanking them for their time and discussing this particular role and showed my enthusiasm and motivation to be part of the company. As I didn't hear back I sent another email a week later to find out if I was successful. It's been 3 weeks since I had the interview and had no feedback from the company. I guess the Glassdoor company reviews were genuine and understand now why the entire IT team left all of a sudden at the same time. 8x8 clearly hasn't learned their lesson.
