I applied in July 21 and was contacted immediately to set up a phone interview. I had a great interview with the recruiter and she rushed me into another interview with the hiring manager the next day. That was then followed by 3 back to back interviews with different leaders in the company. One person didn't show for the interview so I was told we would reschedule for the following week with her. After that interview I had no idea what would happen next, I didn't know if the interview process was over if there were going to be further interviews, no idea. So I finally reached back out to the recruiter who told me they were making final selections and she'd follow up at the end of the week. That went by and never heard anything. I emailed her back twice and she just ghosted me. I never heard another word. I really thought I would be a good fit and felt that everything went well - I went through 5 interviews and spent my time to meet with them to just be ignored, blown off, ghosted in the end. Obviously, I wasn't selected, but the professional and courteous thing to do is call the candidate and let them know that they were going in a different direction.
