The process took 1 day. I interviewed at 8x8 in Apr 2010
Interview
The overall process was typical. Meet for 30 minute time blocks with various persons in the company for whom the new candidate would work with. Some of the discussions were rather useless as the person(s) interviewing showed an extreme lack of disinterest. Unmotivated and not all interested in differing opinions or views on many subjects.
Ok, I get it, some people are stubborn and strong willed. Others are open and invite new insights into processes, designs, thinking, technologies.
At the end of the day, upon walking out after spending close to 3+ hours going through the motions, immediately new I was not a top contender. Ok with that as the there has to be chemistry for the team. But no response or follow up email / phone call really sends a clear picture about the people and how they run the company.
