I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at A&O Shearman (London, England) in Mar 2020
Interview
Standard online application form with 2 job specific questions relating to the world of Advanced Delivery. Around a month later, I was contacted about an assessment day in London. The assessment day comprises two 1:1 interviews: a case study exercise with presentation (with an employee working in Advanced Delivery) followed by a scenario based interview with a HR employee. Then, a tour of the building with the other graduate candidates.
Overall, it was an enjoyable day and very friendly employees. The case study exercise is interesting - not something that can be easily prepared for but a good technique to see how graduates may respond in a typical working day.
Only downside was not being able to get feedback regarding the assessment day after finding out I wasn't successful. The assessment day was just before the coronavirus pandemic massively affected London so maybe the recruitment team was busy with more important aspects of the business.

Interview
Easy process, poorly structured assessment centre, I would advise thorough research on fuse cohorts and M&A case studies. The interviewer had to pick up on another call during my presentation.
