I worked as a cashier at A&W for six months and overall, it was a positive experience. The pay was fair and the hours were flexible, which was great for me as a student. The training I received was thorough and I felt well-prepared for the job. The work environment was generally pleasant, and my coworkers were friendly and supportive. However, there were times when the restaurant was understaffed, which could make the job stressful and overwhelming. Additionally, some customers could be difficult to deal with, but that's to be expected in any customer service role. One thing I appreciated about working at A&W was the opportunity for growth and advancement. I was able to take on additional responsibilities and learn new skills, which was great for my resume. The management was generally supportive, but there were times when communication could have been better. Overall, I would recommend working at A&W as a cashier, especially for those looking for a flexible and supportive work environment. However, there are some challenges to the job that should be taken into consideration.
