When I was working in sales two years ago at _______ there was a customer trying to return a new product they purchased called the ____. This product was supposed to be installed in your car and monitored through your phone in order to get diagnostics and be up to date with your cars needs. The customer wanted to return it because they didn’t understand how to use it. I reintroduced the product to them to make sure it was something they were genuinely interested in. Once that was determined, i helped them download the app through their phone and set up the device in their car. I dedicated time to ensure they were confident about how to use the product, and gave them my contact info in case they had future questions. Not only did I save the company from a return, the customer left very happy with their new product and came back the next week to get one for their daughter who was going to college.
