It started with a Zoom/Facetime call, during which the hiring manager asked general questions. The questions were initially easy, and there were no surprising trick questions.
Next, someone from HR contacts you and sets up a ride-along appointment. They don't tell you the ride-along will last over 10 hours, so make sure you have nothing else planned for the rest of the day.
My ride-along trainer was late to the first call and spent 45 minutes on unnecessary small talk. The second call, which should’ve taken 30 minutes, lasted over an hour. Poor time management meant we could’ve handled at least four calls.
Overall, this is the job for you if you're okay with almost no decorum and punctuality.
