There were two rounds of interviewing- the first round was a group interview with two other candidates and the second round was one-on-one (both interviews were under an hour, probably closer to 30 minutes). I wanted to write this review because, in preparing for my interview with A24, I read a lot of the reviews on Glassdoor and they mostly terrified me. I'm not sure what their interview process used to be like for interns, but having met with their new Operations Manager in the New York office, I want people (people like me who love A24 and are excited for the opportunity to interview for a job there) to know that this process was actually very open, kind, and supportive. Throughout the two weeks, it was made clear to the candidates that we were always welcome to reach out to our interviewer with any questions we may have had, and interacting with her in the interviews felt very comforting rather than negative. Even if I had not been offered the job, it was still an excellent interview experience- I didn't feel criticized or small at all. I even bonded with some of the other candidates (we are now friends on instagram), as well as the woman who interviewed me (and is now going to be my boss). I have always loved A24, and interviewing for them only made me love them more! So, if you are going in for an interview for something like an internship- don't be afraid! Just be yourself and enjoy the experience because being asked to come in and interview in and of itself is such an honor. Also, fun fact: In their waiting area, they have a jar of A24 lighters and the receptionist told me that people are allowed to take them :)
