Applied through their site for an LA position, and got a first round phone call interview. Though it was a typical call, it seemed a little rushed at the end. Second interview was two weeks later via Zoom, meeting a potential coworker based in NY and someone from HR. During the interview, the job description of the role was pretty different than what was posted online, with more responsibilities and seemingly a higher-level position. After the meeting there was an open-ended written assignment, of which I received no feedback afterwards. Three weeks later and with two follow-ups left unanswered, I received a formal rejection via email, though it was still unclear why or where in the process of the interviews I went wrong.
