First I want to preface this with I am a former employee who was let go due to Covid-19. The first phone screen was scheduled quickly after submitting my resume on their website. It was described as a phone screen with the recruiter. The day and time came and I did not get a call. I re-verified the appointment information to make sure I had the details correct (I did) and continued to wait. Maybe a previous call went long, maybe she was stuck in a meeting. At 45 minutes late I sent an email asking if she needed to reschedule. Nothing. At an hour I reached out to former co-workers to see if she was active. (She wasn’t) Did she have an internal out of office set but not external? (she didn’t) At 2 hours after our scheduled interview time I asked for a managers email address. I sent an email to the manager explaining the situation and they said they would have her get back to me. (Crickets) The following day I received an email in the afternoon letting me know that she had “computer issues” and could we please reschedule. (Of course!) Fast forward you the new appointment time and no phone call. Panic set in. Validated my information. Sent a clarification email. 30 minutes past scheduled interview my phone finally rings. Needless to say I felt very off my game from the get go. As the interview came to a close I asked about the follow up expectations. I was led to believe they would be making decisions quickly and I would hear either way within a week. Sent a thank you email. It’s been 3 weeks... I’ve heard nothing.
