There were two rounds of interview. The first round was an online interview with an HR executive and an executive director. The interview was pretty normal sharing of personal work experience with some hypothetical questions at the end. The second round included a web test, 10 min presentation and a face-to-face panel interview. About 2 weeks was given to complete the web test (Japan SPI) and to prepare for the mini presentation. The presentation took some time to prepare as it was an entire new topic of interest to me. Lastly, the panel interview took place with 6 people (3 locals and 3 expatriates), starting with the mini presentation, followed by sharing of work experience in English and also some portions in Japanese due to job requirement. Results for the 1st interview came in quick on the following day but results for the 2nd interview took a long 6 weeks with no feedback available. The whole process took 3 months.
