      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AHEAD

      Interview

Interviewed with 4 different people including the recruiter. Everyone I interviewed with was very friendly and the interviews were very straightforward. After about 1 month of going through the process, I was offered the job. I tried to negotiate the salary to the top end of the range I initially gave, which was not drastically more than what was offered. They actually rescinded the offer completely and told me it was due to budgeting issues and department changes. I thought it was very strange and unprofessional to offer someone a job when you don’t have the money for even the initial offer. I did see they reposted the job on LinkedIn the same day that they offered me the job when I tried to negotiate, so I really hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Luckily, I did not give notice at my current employer yet. I am happy I did not accept the initial offer because I feel this shows how the company operates. For a company that values transparency, I don’t feel like they are true to their word.
