I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AIG (Houston, TX) in Nov 2016
Interview
Very easy, the hiring manager was very friendly and easy to to deal with. Did not put much pressure on you. There was like a Skype interview where you answered three questions,I believe this is how must employers a choosing to go to select the right candidate and if they like you afterwards, they then invite you to a 1:1

Question 1
Tell me about your last experience as a Business Analyst
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AIG (New York, NY) in Jan 2025
Interview
The interviewer rescheduled multiple times over a two-week span, making it difficult to coordinate and maintain momentum in the process. On the day of the interview, they arrived 15 minutes late, which added to the uncertainty. Despite these challenges, the recruiter was very kind and reassuring, consistently emphasizing that the company values a positive culture and a respectful work environment. Throughout the process, they made an effort to keep me engaged and assured me that these scheduling issues were not reflective of how the company typically operates.

Interview
Fast, efficient, friendly interviewers. Good level of questions which tested your knowledge and skillset. Some might be designed to catch you out but mostly they want to see if you’re a good fit for the team

What can you explain about insurance versus reinsurance
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AIG (New York, NY) in Dec 2017
Interview
They had an SAT question as part of the screening and expected you to talk through your answer without even giving you time to think. It seemed a bit arrogant to me that they would do that to someone who is an internal transfer and is valued by all current managers with great recommendations! Very narrow minded process
