I was surprised to receive a phone call from AIG since I had applied around two months prior without hearing anything.
I was invited for a competency based interview so prepared for those types of questions.
When I arrived at the interview, I was told that as I did not have any experience in the role I had applied for, there would be no competency based questions. I never understood this explanation but didn’t question it.
I was simply asked to talk about myself and what my current role was.
Even if I had received an offer, I would have declined as I didn’t feel that the interviewer (who would have been my manager) came across well at all.
Interviewed with three different hiring managers. I felt like everything went well. I was told I'd here back from them within a week. After not hearing anything a week later followed up with recruiter and was told they needed more time, someone was out. It's been 2 months and I'm able to admit, they ghosted me.
the interview process was fairly simple and the hiring process was quick as well. it was a good experience and a good company to work for the transition has changed employers to a new company
Technical and people skills are tested across different interview rounds - straightforward process and nice interviewers. Felt like they were a little distracted/had other things that they would rather be doing.
