I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AIG (New York, NY) in Feb 2013
Interview
Applied through AIG Info Session at my University. They called me back after 2 weeks. First round was 2-to-1 interview, standard questions on resumè, nothing unexpected (why do you want to be an actuary, what do you know about AIG). They never called me back, not even to say we're not moving you on.
HR call then meet with team members. Overall mostly behavioral questions, never got any technical questions. They seem to be more interested in cultural fit rather than technical skills. Very causal overall.
I applied online. I interviewed at AIG (New York, NY) in Dec 2023
Interview
Casual and efficient. Screening call was casual: asking basic information of you and your experience and telling you about the position. In the next interviews they gave more role specific questions.

Quick Phone interview , just the basic, ask why do you think you suit the job, what’s your advantage compared to other candidates, and if willing to relocate. Didn’t get further with the process.
