Interview
Communication was easy with their creative recruiting manager. He was very straight forward in his talks with me. He knew he wanted me and made every effort to get me there. Set me up with the right folks to speak to about culture, talent, work/life balance, etc. etc. Salary negotiation was effortless. It's worth mentioning that the recruiting manager I worked with is no longer with the company.

None. The interviews were smooth like a hot knife through butter. The hardest part about interviewing as a designer is being confident in your work yet not be arrogant. The second hardest is not rambling about your resume, experience and work. I'm glad the recruiter was straight forward with me in questions and answers.

Interview
The recruiting coordinator (I believe now she was promoted to be a recruiter) was such an irresponsible person. I’m a visual designer, she put me to go through two rounds of interviews with UX designers just to disappear on me in the end, after I confronted her about my interview structure and my background, there was no answer or even an apology from her. It’s such a bad recruiting process, and AKQA even let these dumb people to recruit talents, what a shame.

3/4 stages. Recruiter short conversation. Hiring Manager interview. Second interview with another lead. Third interview with two colleagues. Interviews were friendly and very conversational. Talked about previous work but largely looking for your perspective and what you like dislike etc
