I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at AKQA (Portland, OR) in Mar 2014
Interview
Rushed. In retrospect I realized they were trying to throw bodies on projects as quickly as possible. But the recruiter was very nice. I was contacted via email by the recruiter and then I had a 1:1 with her. Then I met with my would-be manager. Both interviews were rushed. I should have been more discriminating but I was ready for a move and I thought I would be challenged to move to the next level in my career. But ultimately they didn't do a good job figuring out if I would truly be a good match for the company and my team. I wasn't - I ultimately hated the culture there but wasn't able to figure that out from the interview process.

Tell me about your experience solving a difficult problem on the job.
Had an interview recently that felt misaligned. The role and what was discussed didn’t fully match, and the energy in the conversation was a bit disengaged. Would recommend clarifying role scope and expectations early. Recruiter was great.
Interviews were very smooth. Did 4 interview in a day plus an assestment test. Everyone was easy going and very interested on listening, put yourself comfortable and make you feel you could be yourself
