Applied Online, Received a Hackerrank programming test online. There were 5 questions, passed all the test cases for each question. But within 5 hours of taking the test, got a reject email citing "Did not meet minimum passing score in the test".
I passed all the test cases of every question, seems like even 100% score is not enough.

Interview
All the interviewers I talked to were disinterested to a point where they were downright rude. With trading being a competitive industry, if they can't even find interviewers with a hint of enthusiasm for their company I'm not sure how they can convince anyone to join them.
OAs are tough, but if you can get most of the tests to pass you'll get a phone screen I think. It might take a long time to schedule, but phone screens have coding (not LC) or just CS fundamentals trivia depending on the team.
