I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Adelaide)
Interview
The interview was held at the head office and there were maybe 50 of us in the room. One of the head ALDI staff gave an introduction to the company and stressed that the role is very physically demanding and that we are required to be available 7am-late every day. After that 5 of us went up at a time to a panel just in front of all candidates where they asked a couple of questions then sent us on our way.
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI in Jun 2026
Interview
It was short and sweet, they sent me a email to book a time to have a phone call with them and a week later I had my interview. I just answered some questions they asked me and said I would get a email reply if I went to the next stage
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me
-tell them more about myself
-why I left my current position
-if I was working there what task would the job require
-why I want to work there
Was overly complicated and too many stages, online test x2 and a recorded interview. Application itself is very tedious and is not very friendly to new users. Apparently you need to know someone already in ALDI to work at there stores.
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI in May 2026
Interview
Call interview. Got an email to schedule a time for a call interview and passed it.
Still need to do a Store interview (which I was told would be the final interview).
