I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Melbourne)
Interview
Group Interview - then a medical - then an interview with Area Manager - then a 2 hour long walk along interview as the store opened - then an offer
Group interview had lots of questions about ALDI so read up on their website before you go - a good one to have in mind is what is your favourite ALDI product - if you can name something specific. There was a kind of 'group thinking test' where you decided what to bring on a life raft... then that was it really.
Medical was thorough.
Then interview with AM was standard retail interview fare... experience, safety, customer service etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ALDI in Mar 2023
Interview
Interviewer was late. Very much a ‘fire loads of questions’ style of interview. Would help to put people at ease if you could get something back from the interviewer rather than a man sitting there with a completely blank face.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why Aldi What separates Aldi from other supermarkets
Group interview - went round talking about things as prompted by the interviewer. Had a short separate one on one interview post group, with a store manager. Was in the store itself (however in a back room)

Question 1
Tell us something about yourself that someone might not know from meeting you
It was a self recorded video interview and was great. You had to record yourself answering the questions they gave and then they would review it and see if you moved ahead into the recruitment process
