A week after I applied, I received a phone call for an initial interview. After that, I was sent 2 and a half hours' worth of skill tests: Microsoft Excel and Word, reading comprehension, mathematics, and typing speed test.
Once I submitted those, I was invited to the next round, which was a video conference with three other applicants, two recruiters, and two buying directors. It was a 2-hour interview in the middle of the day. We were asked various questions and had to answer them in alphabetical order, going from each candidate's first name.
We were told that we would be contacted at the end of the week, whether or not we were invited to ANOTHER interview with the buying directors. However, after over a week of silence and two unanswered emails, a recruiter finally told me that I was not selected.
That's 4.5 hours of my time wasted, only to be ghosted.
